Born in 1967 in Como - Italy, Flavio Perego began to learn to play the violin at the age of six at the Conservatory of Music in Como, and then he refined his skills under the guidance of teacher Turconi, a violinist at the Scala Orchestra in Milan.

In 1986 he graduated in violin making at the famous International Luthier School in Cremona and he began practicing under the teaching of famous masters, like Bergonzi, Scolari, Bissolotti and Conia.

He worked for about 4 years at the laboratory of Master Giorgio Scolari refining his technical and design skills as well as learning the secrets of excellent varnishing using exclusively natural components. His violins, violas and cellos are made according to the classical Cremonese models (Stradivari, Guarneri del Gesù, Amati).

His musical instruments are made with selected top quality wood and are finely varnished with Alcohol-based-varnishes in orange-brown color on a golden-yellow background. His experience as violinist allows him to perfect also the sound of his instruments and to take care of all the details that musicians look for when choosing their instrument.

He lives and works in the city of Casalbuttano in Via XX Settembre, Polengo, where he often receives students that are eager to grasp the secrets of the art of violin making.
